Dust Collection Systems

Clean Air Booths

There are certain processes that create dust or fume that simply cannot be addressed by a source capture system. Down draft tables are too small,  portable units are useless. So, what is the answer to this problem? Simple! A self-cleaning, high-efficiency Clean Air Booth! (CAB)

The Clean Air Booth is modular and has tremendous flexibility for sizing to fit your requirements. Once the CAB is installed, the problem area is isolated and controlled. Typical applications include welding fume, grinding dust, manufacturing process dust and many others.

There is no operator involvement with a CAB, just go to work, and the booth takes care of the dust and fume. The CAB pulls the air back and down, away from the operator's breathing zone. Then the dust and fume are captured by high-efficiency, self-cleaning filtration, and the air is recirculated directly back into the plant. Wet Dust Collectors

Wet Dust Collectors are used for very specific dust collection. There are certain materials that are rated  as a highly combustible nature. In applications such as cutting, grinding, sanding and deburring where sparks can occur with particular metals, wet collectors are the safest way address these applications.

Aluminum, Magnesium and Titanium are a few of the metallic dust that are best collected with wet dust collectors. The wet collectors provided by Viper meet the National Fire Code Standard, presented by the NFPA.

Ambient Air Cleaning Systems

Source Capture Systems

When you need smoke, dust or fume collected directly at the source, we have the solution for you. With source capture systems available up to 28 ft. in reach, we can provide the protection required for your workers. Our source capture systems provide both self-cleaning filtration systems and direct exhaust to the outdoors. We offer 8" diameter source capture systems that allow for more air flow and less resistance than the 6" diameter systems that are common today. Regardless of whether you require a single source capture point or multiple pick up points throughout your facility, Viper can meet your needs. In addition to supplying this equipment, we can also design, engineer and install the entire system. Mist Collection Systems

In today's world of metal cutting, the product is getting progressively harder, tool speeds continue to increase and coolant is used in greater quantities than ever before. Whether your plant uses water-based, synthetic-based, or petroleum-based coolants, they all create similar problems - poor shop air quality for your employees, PLC board damage, mist covered equipment and dangerously slippery floors. The solution to these problems is to control and capture the mist at its source of creation. High efficiency mist collectors can be machine mounted, addressing a single mist creating machine, or a larger mist collector can be used and ducted to several matching centers. Our mist collectors require minimal maintenance and provide your shop with an indoor environment that offers multiple benefits to you and your employees.

Industrial Vacuum Systems

When the typical shop vac cannot handle the challenges that face industrial processes, there is an industrial answer. Viper can provide your company with the correct tool for the job. Whether it requires an industrial portable vacuum system, or an engineered central vacuum system, we can accommodate your company. Today's industrial vacuums offer self-cleaning filtration, for continuous use, eliminating the need to manually clean filters, or constantly purchase new filters. The motors used on our industrial vacuums are made for continuous use, without continually replacing electrical components, as is common in small shop vacuums. These are TEFC motors, requiring no maintenance. Units are available in single phase, and three phase electrics

Filter Cleaning

Viper Air Purification Inc. has provided the industrial Dust Collection manufacturing market with high efficiency air filtration products and systems. While these systems offered a safer and cleaner work environment, Industries have recognized that constantly replacing air filters was an expensive practice. In addition, with increasing environmental awareness, industries also realized that this practice was having a detrimental effect on valuable landfill space. In the mid 90's Viper developed a technique that allows the filters to be cleaned. Once commonly hauled off to dumps where they consumed precious landfill space, or wet washed where the integrity of the filter was compromised, filters can now be recycled and reused with greater efficiency and safety than ever before. And the advantages are significant --- lower filter costs, minimum dumpster space used, and most importantly, conservation of valuable landfill area! Today Viper continues to refine and enhance the cleaning process. We can clean any brand of dust collector pleated filters. Paper dust collector filters can be cleaned up to five times, and with the new synthetic dust collector filters, we have found that they have no limit to the cleaning process

Down Draft Tables

Viper can provide any type of Down Draft table that you may require in your application. We offer self-contained tables with high efficiency, self-cleaning filtration that are available in various sizes, horse powers, and electric voltages. (single phase and three phase). We also supply central system Down Draft tables that can be ducted to a remote collector or exhaust fan.

And if you require a specific, custom-built Down Draft table, we can fabricate to your exact specifications, along with providing the correct collector or exhaust fan. 

We have found that the work surface of the Down Draft table can be important to certain processes. For that reason, we offer painted steel grate, rubber-coated steel grate, perforated steel and fiberglass grate. These work surfaces are available for all of our Down Draft tables. Plus, a new option has been added to our tables - a combination slotted-back draft hood with down draft air flow. The slotted-back draft hood allows for work on taller items, while still capturing the fume and dust.
